At the campsite you can rent rowboats, kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and pedal boats. Lake Långasjön surrounds our entire facility and is a family friendly lake, perfect for canoeing or kayaking, or to take a little lake tour by boat. On the way, you can stop for a picnic on an island, or you can visit the pretty beach north of Semesterhem. Here, the sandy beach is shallow and perfect for small children as well. Here you also find a nice and big barbecue place. There is even wood available to make a little fire, free of charge! You will also find a toilet here.
On Lake Långasjön you can feel safe. The lake is narrow, almost like a river, which means that you are always close to the water edge. The lake is not so deep either and no risk for high waves. Simply a very safe lake.

It's always fun to see that our guests are sometimes a bit uncertain when they step into a kayak for the first time in their live. But then when they come back, they are totally enthusiastic. It was not nearly as difficult as they thought, and it was simply great fun to paddle out on the lake in a kayak, and enjoy the nature around them. It simply gives a stunning and magical feeling to be one with nature. Have you done that, you will never forget it.

If you want to paddle together as a family or a group, then renting a canoe might be the best way to go out on the lake. Our canoes are very wide and here you can sit comfortable and stable. You can fit two adults in one canoe and even 1-2 small children can follow along. Let the adventure begin!

We have boats for rent in both Långasjön and Kroksjöarna. The boats are often rented out for those who want to fish, but of course you can also rent boats for a pleasant tour on the lake. You can also rent an electric motor as well.
It is not allowed with a gasoline motor, because our lake is providing our community with drinking water. Neither are gasoline motors allowed in Kroksjöarna because these lakes are located in the middle of the nature reserve, where it should be quiet and peaceful.

SUP stands for Stand Up Paddleboarding. This means you are standing up on a large surfboard and you are paddling with a single-bladed paddle. Today SUP has become one of the fastest growing water sports in the world and it is a very fun way to get out on the water. The boards are very stable and anyone from the age of 7 can use them. If you've never done it, you should give it a try. It is simply a lot of fun.
